Q: What exactly does a travel advisor do for me I can't get elsewhere?

A: As your travel advisor, I handle every detail of your trip on your behalf--from doing the initial research on your destination, to planning the basic itinerary, to servicing the bookings with the suppliers on your behalf and providing advice and assistance before, during and after your journey returns. My goal and my ultimate role is to simpify the process for you saving you time and headache as I curate a trip that fits your style, budget and ultimate goals.

Q: Why should I use a travel advisor instead of just booking online myself or directly with suppliers?

A: When you use a travel advisor, you receive personalized recommendations, exclusive perks no one else has available to them and insider access to new products and itineraries from someone inside the industry. Not to mention you have a real person who advocates for you in anything goes wrong and is invested in your journey as much as you are. Without a travel advisor on your side, those online booking engines and those direct to supplier bookings can't match that level of care. No to mention, it doesn't cost more as my commission is already built into the supplier prices.

Q: Are there any extra fees to work with you?

A: Many services I provide to you are complimentary because I'm paid by our travel partners after your trip is completed and here is the secret...that cost to the travel partner is already included in your final price and doesn't change your price if you book directly with them. Some more complex or highly customized itineraries may include a planning or research fee, which I'll always discuss upfront with you before any of the real work begins.

Otherwise, we do charge a minimum $50.00 flat agency service fee per booking. It covers our technology access and and helps to support our time on the backend doing things you'll usually never see or never hear about as we make your journey your dream vacation and one to remember.

Q: What information do you need from me?

A: Just fill out a new travel inquiry for your trip and we'll get an consultation scheduled very soon afterwards. During that consultation, we'll discuss your travel goals, preferences, timeline and overall budget. After that, I can begin crafting options tailored personally for you to consider to move foward with.

A: We need basic traveler details (names, date of birth, address, contact information), your preferred travel dates, destination interests, budget range, and any special considerations (mobility needs, celebrations to be had, overall group size, etc.). You will submit most of this information as part of the travel inquiry and then we'll also go over it in the initial consultation.

Q: How long does it take to receive my travel proposals and get started with booking?

A: Most proposals are provided to you within 2-5 business days, depending on the complexity of the trip and availability of our travel industry partners and suppliers. Booking happens as soon as you approve a specific itinerary.

Q: Can you help with coordinating group travel?

A: Absolutely I can, it is one of our primary services to many clients. After I meet with you or with your whole group and we know what the ultimate destination and purpose for the group is, I'll handle logistics, communication, payment tracking and supplier relations for you. In some cases, I may even travel along with the group as an escort for the group.
